Port Renfrew to Mesachie Lake, one leg of the Pacific Marine Circle Route. Port Renfrew return was 112 K on a nicely finished, quite road with some amazing view. Long long climbs up to the main plateau. John, Fred and myself made it to various points Fred did 80K Ross 90K and buddy John went down the long hill to Mesachie knowing he would have to climb back up it to do the whole thing, wind blowing hard in our faces on the return. A little hot and I didn’t bring enough water. One of the hardest rides I have done. If I was to do it again, and I would like to, I would start at Mesachie and I would pick a cooler day.
